Angie is a registered psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience working with children, youth, and families in both clinical and educational settings. Her extensive background includes working in hospital inpatient and outpatient programs, as well as mental health agencies. Angie is passionate about supporting individuals facing trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities, suicidal thoughts, self-harm behaviours, school difficulties, low self-esteem, and challenges in family and sibling relationships. Angie is dedicated to helping individuals cultivate their resilience and strength in a compassionate, non-judgmental, and family-centered way. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, she integrates play, arts, and music into the therapeutic space. She employs evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including Play Therapy, Music Therapy, Emotion(ally)-Focused Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
